A Tube Transport System Like In Futurama May Soon Be Real.
It’s no doubt the future we’ve imagined for years is arriving. In 2007 the iPhone was invented before that most people had flip phones and keyboard phones. Nowadays if you have a flip phone you’re probably a 65-year-old man who can’t quite make the change. It may be because I’m still young but I cannot picture the world without smartphones.
When you think of the future you think of stuff like you’d see on shows like Futurama and The Jetsons, every day we are getting closer and closer to that reality. Today marks a new step in the evolution of transportation because we are finally building the Tube Transport System like seen in Futurama.
The Hyper Chariot
The people behind hyper chariot plan on one day building a door to door tube transportation system capable of traveling 4000MPH. First, they need your help to fund a 3 mile long, 300MPH version of this tube transportation system to help show people that it works and is safe.
Once the project is complete they plan on turning it into a ride called “The Velocitator”. The team behind this has already begun working on this project with their partners at Super 78.
They’ve done numerous rides at top amusement parks around the world and museum exhibits for NASA. Fun fact: Super 78 owns Walt Disney’s original home in Chicago. They are passionate about continuing his legacy and we are proud to be working with them.
What Are The Odds?
When it comes to going green I am all for it. I love the idea of a new enviromentaly friendly transportation system that could one day replace airplanes but sadly, I doubt this project will go anywhere besides becoming an overpriced fair ride.
The Hyper Chariot may happen one day I doubt we will see anything like this in our lifetime. It would be too hard to get the governments on board and airplane companies would fight against it because they would lose their revenue.
That being said I hope Nick Garzilli and his team can prove me wrong and make this a reality within the next century.
What’s In It For You?
You may be wondering what you get if you’ve donated and helped the cause. Well, for $25 dollars you’ll either receive a ticket to ride The Velocitator or a dog tag with the Hyper Chariot logo. The gigs don’t get much better than that. The more you pay the more Velocitator tickets or dog tags you will get.
