Make Life Easier With The First Fully Automatic Toothbrush
If you keep up with technology you know that innovators are always looking for ways to make life easier. They take everyday chores such as getting ready or cooking and make the process more time efficient. That’s exactly what Marvin Musialek is doing with his new startup, Amabrush.
What Is Amabrush?
Amabrush is the first automatic toothbrush. We’ve had electronic toothbrushes that did a majority of the work but never a fully automatic brush. It’s time to say goodbye to your Oral-B Pro 300.
The device looks very similar to a mouth guard but it’s packed full of bristles that brush all your teeth at the same time, resulting in reduced teeth brushing time.
Dentists recommend brushing your teeth for 2 minutes straight for the best results. Amabrush claims your teeth will be fully cleaned within 10 seconds. That’s a big deal. They also claim that you will save up to 100 days of your life by using this brush.
How Does It Work?
To use the Amabrush simply put it in your mouth, press the button, wait 10 seconds, then spit and rinse. It’s that simple.
“The bristles are directed at a 45° angle against your gingival cuff. This simulates the Bass method, which is recommended by dentists and experts. The bristles are comparable to soft-bristled toothbrushes. This ensures the most comfortable, safest tooth brushing and makes gum-damage impossible. We work closely with dentists and dental universities to address two concerns: clean teeth and no gum damage.” –IndieGoGo Campaign
Where Can I Purchase It?
The Amabrush is currently available for pre-order on IndieGoGo for €89. It does not look like they are offering any sort of early bird discount. Don’t throw away your $130 Oral-B Pro 3000 just yet, Amabrush isn’t expected to ship until February 2017 and in the IndieGoGo campaign, it says the patent is still pending. This is a crowdfunding project which means it should be taken with a grain of salt.
